Ball on the Wall 2019

Austcham was yet again proud to present Ball on the Wall 2019 on the 18th of May. Guests were invited to enjoy a memorable night overlooking the magnificent Great Wall of China. COVID-19 Global Update

On 18 March AustCham China, in partnership with Austrade, held a webinar with Professor Sharon Lewin AO, Director, Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity, and Tim White, Trade Commissioner and Commercial Consul, West China, Austrade.

As the infection and fatality rate of COVID-19 increases globally but decreases in China domestically, Prof. Lewin provided insight into what this means on a global scale. Prof. Lewin further expanded upon what the AU$3.2 million dollar donation from the Jack Ma Foundation means in the race to develop a vaccine and what has been achieved in investigating, diagnosing and treating the virus globally.
