Member Event | YCIS Beijing Active Parenting Workshops

Beginning in March, Yew Chung International School of Beijing will hold a series of Active Parenting Workshops, one for parents of Children Ages 5-12, and a second workshop for parents of Children Ages 13-18.

YCIS Beijing Active Parenting Workshop: From 5 to 12 Years 积极的养育工作坊：5岁至12岁

Active Parenting is a programme for parents designed to develop and build the skills necessary to enhance family life and manage the challenges that children and parents face in this ever-changing world.
积极的养育工作坊专为家长而设，帮助家长培养必要的技能，提高家庭生活质量以及帮助家长及孩子积极地应对这个快速变化的世界所带来的挑战。

This workshop will cover topics such as:

• Use non-violent discipline that really works 以非暴力的方式教育孩子
  Open up lines of communication, before they get clogged 在孩子关闭心门前进行开放的沟通
• Teach responsibility, courage, and other important character traits 教育孩子责任、勇气以及其他重要的性格特质
• Encourage school success in 7 steps 通过7个步骤鼓励孩子在学校取得优异成绩

YCIS Beijing Active Parenting of Teens Workshop: From 13 to 18 Years 积极的养育工作坊：13岁至18岁

Bringing up a young person in today’s world can have many challenges for parents. Active Parenting of Teens gives parents skills and strategies that help increase communication and cooperation with their teenagers, while also decreasing areas of potential conflict. This entertaining and informative programme uses activities and discussion to show parents ways to raise independent, cooperative and responsible young people.
今天，家长在养育孩子时需要应对很多挑战。积极的养育工作坊将会分享养育孩子的技巧以及策略，帮助增进家长和孩子的沟通、增加家长和青少年之间的协作，减少潜在的冲突。这个寓教于乐的、详尽的课程将会利用活动及讨论的形式，向家长展示各种养育方法，从而培养独立的、合作的及负责任的年轻人。
