AustCham Beijing Energy and Resources Industry Forum
On the evening of 25th August AustCham Beijing will be hosting the Energy and Resources
Industry Forum at the InterContinental Hotel Beijing. The forum is a great chance for
member companies to gain insights from leading companies in the sector, receive updates
from government and have their voice heard by policymakers.
Event Overview
AustCham’s Energy and Resources Industry Forum gathers together prominent Chinese and
Australian companies, as well as policymakers to provide an ideal platform for attendees to
discuss industry trends and receive updates directly from government and industry
representatives.
The forum is Chaired by Glenn Corrie, Managing Director of Sino Gas & Energy, Australia’s
largest investor in China’s gas sector, and will feature two 15-20 minute presentations – one
by John Johnson, CEO of CRU China, a leading commodities analyst group, and the other by a
Counsellor from the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science at the Australian
Embassy Beijing. The presentations will be followed by a 35 minute Q & A and networking
session.
