Australian Federal Budget 2018-19 Overview and Implications for China-Australia Business

On Tuesday the 15th May 2018, AustCham Beijing will be holding an exclusive event with Mr. David Woods, Minister Counsellor (Financial), Australian Embassy Beijing to update Australian and Chinese businesses on the 2018-2019 Australian Federal Budget.
The event will feature a presentation providing valuable insight into the updated Australian Federal Budget, as well as an opportunity to ask any questions to the Minister regarding the 2018-19 budget.
The event will be followed by a drinks reception.

Mr. David Woods
David Woods is the Senior Treasury Representative at the Australian Embassy in Beijing, a position he has held since the start of 2015.
David previously led the team in the Australian Treasury that developed policy on capital markets and corporate governance.
From 2009 to 2012, David worked in the Treasury on the design and delivery of the Australian Government’s budget and fiscal policy response to the onset of the financial crisis.
David started his career at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet before living and working in the Middle East from 2005 to 2008.
David holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the London School of Economics and a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Economics (with First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney.
