Post Event Update | Dezan Shira Outbound Payments Seminar

On the 2nd February AustCham Beijing and BritCham hosted a seminar on outbound payments, with Hannah Feng from Dezan Shira & Associates (DSA) guiding attendees through this hot topic. Hannah Feng is a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting Services at DSA’s Beijing office, joining the firm in 2006 with her current work focusing on WFOE accounting and tax services.
Hannah detailed to the audience the process of fund repatriation and China’s taxation system, providing a technical and general insight of the issue.
After the presentation the floor was opened up to Q&A whereupon the issue was expanded further. In the end over Chinese tea and Australian beer attendees mused over the topic with fellow professionals, and relaxed after the week that was.
