Event | Australia Day Reception

On January 26th, the team from AustCham Beijing were joined by some of our closest members and special guest Gerald Thomson, Australia’s Deputy Head of Mission in Beijing, for an evening of Australia Day celebrations at the InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun. 

The event was a great way to connect with people from all walks of life and remind ourselves of what brings us together as Australians. 

Some lucky winners had an even bigger celebration, managing to bring home a couple of raffle prizes as the cherry on top to an already great day.

With chicko rolls and meat pies as a small taste of home, the night was topped off with a sponge cake that would have been the envy of the CWA. 

While we might have to wait another year to celebrate again, we look forward to seeing you at one of our many upcoming events soon!
