Event | Danish Young Professionals 3rd edition of Interchamber series about “Personal Branding”

Danish Young Professionals, in collaboration with Australian Chamber and Benelux Chambers, are pleased to invite you to the third edition of Interchamber series about “Personal Branding”

On June 8, we have arranged a nice dinner, where you can enjoy an All You Can Eat Indian Buffet, free flow of beer and soda at Punjabi Restaurant near Chaoyangmen Park.

During the event, two speakers will share their knowledge on Personal Branding and how you develop your own brand in a rapidly changing environment on WeChat.

Abe Sorock:

Abe’s firm Atlas China supports business leaders and entrepreneurs in their China staffing and growth, including multinational companies like Merck and the NBA and fast-growing technical companies. He has a leadership role with the American Chamber of Commerce in China, organizing events for the Entrepreneurs Forum and Young Professionals, and was recently named a World Economic Forum Global Shaper.

Abe previously led the Jewish cultural Moishe House in Beijing where he hosted the head of the Ford Foundation in China, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy, and many successful business leaders for speaker talks that regularly drew attendance from 60-120 young professionals. Abe has spoken to audiences at the U.S. Embassy, Schwarzman Scholars at Tsinghua University, European Union Chamber, Entrepreneurs Organization, AmCham Shanghai, and the Jewish Funders Network.

Abe was born in Washington D.C. and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Wisconsin — Madison. His professional experience and training includes Reed Smith LLP, Capitol Hill and The White House. He graduated from the Johns Hopkins-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies and speaks Mandarin.

 

Thomas Graziani

Thomas is the co-founder of WalktheChat, a consulting and development agency dedicated to building innovative strategies and products for WeChat marketing and branding.

WalktheChat is focusing on providing foreign companies with opportunities to enter the Chinese market via WeChat. WalktheChat has been working both with large groups such as Nestle, the American National Football League or Arla, and with SME’s trying to enter the Chinese market.

WalktheChat has developed its proprietary cross-border e-commerce platform enabling foreign businesses to easily set up shops on China’s largest social network.

Thomas was previously part of the marketing & strategy department of Schneider Electric in which he spearheaded the work on Smart Cities and Smart Grid for the company in China. Before joining Schneider Electric, he was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group during which he worked on projects across various industry including banking, supply chain and pharmaceuticals.

Thomas is a graduate from the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge and holds an engineering degree with a specialisation in Applied Mathematics and Operational Research from Ecole Polytechnique in France.
