Join fellow China-based graduates and guests for a special networking event in April with guest speaker Philip Beck, Chairman of Dubeta – a private equity company established in 1989 as a play on the words to “do better”.
Co-hosted by Elizabeth Cowley, Deputy Dean of the University of Sydney Business School, and Professor Archie Johnston, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and IT, this is part of our Innovation and Entrepreneurship series and this particular event will focus on: Innovation – why one year in China is equal to 7 years in the West.

Philip Beck
Philip Beck, 贝曦贤, has 40 years’ experience at C-Level positions in SME’s and publicly-listed companies across the advertising, digital media, e-Commerce, marketing, recruitment and traditional media sectors in Asia-Pacific and the UK. Since his first China experience in 1995, he has established Joint Ventures, launched new brands and is now an active investor, Chairman and mentor to more than 20 local Chinese start-ups.
