Post Event Update | Australia Day BBQ 2018

On Sunday the 28th January Austcham Beijing had the pleasure of putting on a BBQ to celebrate Australia Day with all our members, associates and their families. Although bitterly cold outside, the event space at East Hotel was white hot with Aussie banter.
A taste of home could be found at the hotel buffet in the form of pavlovas and lamb, or in a bottle of Tooheys New at the bar. Away from the grazing a foosball and ping-pong tournament raged on, distracting everyone from Australia’s defeat in the cricket one-day versus England.
Towards the end the raffle was drawn and a few lucky people walked home with some fabulous prizes.
